What are Wall gifts
Gifts are tangible gestures you send to other users, paid in Telegram Stars. Unlike a reaction (ephemeral, invisible to the next visitor), a gift appears on the recipient's profile — visible to every visitor. They're public, persistent, and carry a clear monetary signal.
Wall has 8 gift types, ranging from 5 Stars (cheap enough to use casually) to 500 Stars (a meaningful statement).

How to send a gift
- Open any user's profile in Wall
- Tap the Gift button (gift box icon near the profile header)
- Choose a gift type from the grid
- Confirm the Telegram Stars payment — one tap, no extra forms
The gift appears on their profile immediately and stays there permanently unless you request removal. The recipient gets a notification.
Where gifts appear
Gifts are displayed in the Gifts section on the recipient's profile wall. They're sorted from most recent to oldest and visible to every visitor without any clicks needed. The gift type, sender's avatar, and the date are all shown.
Gifts contribute to the Wall Level scoring system — they're weighted 3× higher than posts or followers, so a Trophy has real impact on a creator's reputation tier.
Gifts vs tips vs reactions
- Reactions — aggregate counter, not shown per-user, invisible to future visitors
- Tips (Stars or TON) — direct payment, but no public display on profile
- Gifts — public, persistent, profile-displayed. The only mechanism that builds visible social proof on someone's page
If you want to support a creator and have that support be visible to their audience, gifts are the right tool.
For creators: receiving gifts
Each gift received shows on your profile and contributes to your Wall Level score. The more Trophies and Crowns you accumulate, the stronger the "this person is worth following" signal to first-time visitors.
Earnings: Wall processes the Stars payment through Telegram's native flow. Stars earnings accumulate in your account and will be withdrawable when the platform exits beta.
