Wall for Photographers
A dedicated /b/photography Branch, image posts that don't fight your composition with hostile crops, paid posts for premium galleries, and TON tips at full price (0% Wall fee). Wall is where Telegram-native photographers publish, sell, and accumulate audience without an algorithm gatekeeping discovery.
Why Wall, for photographers
Photography Branch — your community feed
/b/photography aggregates photo work across landscape, portrait, street, mobile, and professional. Subscribers see your work in their feed; non-subscribers discover you via the Branch landing. No mystery algorithm — Branch posts are chronological + signal-driven.
Composition-respecting image posts
Wall image posts preserve aspect ratio without aggressive crop. Your 16:9 landscape stays 16:9; your 4:5 portrait stays portrait. No Instagram-style square-crop fight. The viewer sees what you composed.
Paid posts for premium galleries
Premium creators publish paid posts — perfect for premium photo sets, RAW packs, location guides, behind-the-scenes process posts. Readers pay Stars to unlock; access is permanent. Public posts (free) for marketing, paid posts for monetization.
TON tips, 0% Wall fee
Receivers get TON tips wallet-to-wallet via TON Connect. Wall is non-custodial — never holds the funds, never deducts a cut. For original photography, the rail with the cleanest economics.
Cross-tag with adjacent Branches
A photo of a sunset on a coastal road tags /b/photography + /b/lifestyle. A street-portrait tags /b/photography + /b/art + /b/culture. Cross-tagging multiplies reach into communities that weren't looking for "photography" but were looking for the subject.
No tracking, no profile-mining
No third-party analytics (no GA, no Pixel) tracking your audience. No profile-mining for ad targeting. Your reader's viewing patterns stay your reader's. Important for photographers who care about their subjects' privacy too.
Typical workflow
How photographers actually use Wall day-to-day.
Build your portfolio profile
Open wall.tg, set up bio with your specialty (street / portrait / landscape / mobile / commercial / film vs digital). Premium upgrade adds profile social links — point them at your Behance, your portfolio site, your IG. Connect TON wallet for tips.
Post finished work, tag well
Image post + caption + tag /b/photography + one or two adjacent Branches based on subject (/b/lifestyle, /b/art, /b/culture, /b/sport, /b/fitness, /b/memes for satirical work). For series, post sequentially — Wall feeds support thread-style cohesion.
Drop graffiti on subjects' walls
Photographed someone? Drop a graffiti note + tip on their wall when you post. Graffiti is the highest-signal social gesture on Wall — for portrait subjects who shared their image, it's a public thank-you that other followers see.
Sell exclusives via paid posts
Premium upgrade. Paid posts for: RAW file packs, location guides with GPS coordinates, lighting-setup breakdowns, presets / Lightroom configs, time-lapse processing videos. Stars-priced; access is permanent on unlock.
Anchor definitive series as Chain Posts
For high-value original series — wedding work, journalistic photo essays, art books — seal the index post as a Chain Post on TON (1+ TON). The hash anchored on-chain proves the timestamped authorship. Useful when AI-generated images proliferate.

Common questions
How does Wall image quality compare to Instagram?
Wall preserves aspect ratio (no forced square crop) and serves images via S3 at composition-friendly sizes. Display-side, both platforms re-encode for delivery; the visual difference is small. The bigger difference is engagement model: IG's algorithm gates reach, Wall's subscriber + Branch model serves your work to people who chose to see it.
Can I sell prints through Wall?
Wall is not a print-on-demand or shipping platform. The workflow that works: post the image + a description, link out in your bio to your fulfillment platform (Saatchi, your own Shopify, Etsy). Wall is the discovery + community surface; fulfillment lives elsewhere.
Are EXIF data and metadata preserved?
Wall preserves the raw image hash (SHA-256) for de-dup and tamper-detection but processes the file for display delivery. Sensitive metadata (GPS coordinates) is conventionally stripped by social platforms; if you need EXIF preservation for a specific use case, link to the original-source URL in the post and host the EXIF-intact file yourself.
How do I get into the Photography branch trending?
Wall's trending surfaces are signal-driven (engagement velocity within the Branch + recency + diversity). Tagging well, posting consistently, and engaging back (replies, graffiti on collaborators) all help. There's no paid-promotion route — only the Ad Network for paid acquisition (UTM-tagged campaigns) lives on Wall, and that's for traffic-acquisition not feed-promotion.
Can I post NSFW art photography?
Wall's /content-policy allows artistic nudity in the right Branches with proper tagging. Pornographic content is not permitted. The line is editorial — when in doubt, tag clearly and let the community signal back. Reported posts go through human moderation.
Is anonymous posting useful for photographers?
Sometimes — for documentary work involving sensitive subjects, for photographers in markets where visibility creates risk, or for personal projects you want to publish without your professional brand attached. Premium / Ultra unlocks anonymous posts. Internal moderation still applies; the anonymity is social-layer.
