Paid Post
also: Stars paywall post, unlock-to-read post
Paid Posts let creators charge readers for individual posts. The creator sets a price in Telegram Stars (any amount). Readers see the post header and a paywall card; tapping the paywall opens a Stars checkout. After payment, the full content unlocks for that reader permanently.
Requires Premium or Ultra to create — the feature is gated to ensure paywalled content meets a minimum quality threshold (Premium creators have already invested in the platform). Reading paid posts is open to anyone — no subscription required to be a customer.
Revenue split for paid-post payments follows the standard Stars rail: ~30% Telegram + 20% Wall rail fee + tier-dependent referrer commission from Wall's share. Net to creator typically 50–60% depending on tier. For higher-margin alternatives, creators can use TON post donations (0% Wall fee, wallet-to-wallet) on free public posts.

Common questions
Can I refund a paid post?
Generally no — Stars-paid unlocks are non-refundable. Specific cases (charged in error, content materially mis-described) go through wall.support/contact.
Why is paid post creation gated to Premium / Ultra?
It's a quality-floor measure. Free-tier paid posts would invite spam-grade paywalled content. Premium creators have an existing relationship with the platform; the gate is structural, not financial.
How do paid posts compare to TON post donations?
Paid posts are mandatory — readers must pay to read. TON post donations are voluntary — readers tip a public post if they want. Different mechanics for different content. Tutorials work better as paid posts; opinion pieces work better as TON-donate-friendly free posts.
