Wall Tips
also: tipping on Wall, TON tips, Stars tips
Tipping on Wall flows through two distinct rails. TON tips go wallet-to-wallet via TON Connect — sender approves a TON transaction in their wallet (Tonkeeper, MyTonWallet), the funds move directly to the recipient's TON address, Wall is never in the path. 0% Wall fee. Sender pays TON network gas (~0.005-0.05 TON); recipient receives the full nominal amount minus their own receive-side gas (~0.005 TON). Verifiable on tonviewer.com / tonscan.org.
Stars tips flow through Telegram's Stars rail. Sender pays in Telegram Stars at checkout; Telegram takes ~30% as the platform fee; Wall takes 20% of the net as the rail-operator fee; if a referrer is in the path, the referrer earns a tier-dependent commission from Wall's share. Net to creator without a referrer: gross × 0.7 × 0.8 = 56%. Stars-rail balances accumulate in the creator dashboard and unlock when open beta ends (target 2026 Q2).
Which rail to use is the recipient's choice — they can publish a TON wallet for crypto-native tips and accept Stars tips simultaneously. Senders pick the rail their wallet supports.

Common questions
Why two tipping rails instead of one?
Different audiences. Crypto-native users prefer TON tips (0% Wall fee, wallet-to-wallet, no custody risk). Non-crypto users prefer Stars tips (one tap inside Telegram, no wallet setup). Forcing one rail would cut half the audience off from tipping. The two rails coexist transparently.
Can a tip be reversed?
TON tips: no, blockchain transactions are irreversible by protocol. Stars tips: typically no, except in narrow cases through wall.support/contact. For both rails, senders should verify the recipient before approving.
How fast does a tip arrive?
TON tip: ~5 seconds blockchain finality + 5-30 seconds Wall server-side verification. Total: 10-40 seconds visible. Stars tip: typically 1-3 seconds (Telegram-internal).
