Open Beta (Wall lifecycle)
also: Wall beta, Wall beta status
Wall has been in open beta since 2024. "Open" because anyone can use Wall — no waitlist, no invite code, no limited rollout. "Beta" because two structural items remain: (1) withdrawals are paused — earnings accumulate in your dashboard balance and become withdrawable when beta ends (target 2026 Q2); (2) some flows are still being hardened (custom-profile boosts, anti-spam, ad-network Phase 2-4).
The pause on withdrawals is operational, not financial — it gives Wall time to harden withdrawal flows and complete payment-provider compliance (KYC, anti-fraud, regulatory documentation per jurisdiction). The accumulating balance is fully visible in your creator dashboard and final; the pause is a delay, not a haircut.
What 'beta' does NOT mean for Wall: not "limited features," not "limited users," not "data may be lost," not "may shut down." Wall ships continuously to dev → main; the beta label refers specifically to the withdrawal-flow + structural-features-not-yet-final boundary.

Common questions
When does open beta end?
Target: 2026 Q2 for the withdrawal-flow component. Other beta-marked flows exit on their own schedule. We announce in /b/changelog when each component ships.
What changes when beta ends?
Withdrawals unlock — accumulated earnings become withdrawable. Some currently-experimental flows (paid-post variants, ad-network higher phases) finalize. Pricing, core features, and the trust model do not change at beta exit; we don't plan a price hike at that boundary.
Is using Wall during beta safe?
Yes — same security architecture (HMAC-SHA256 auth, non-custodial TON, no third-party trackers) regardless of beta status. The beta label is about withdrawal-flow finalization, not about data safety or service reliability.
