Wall Level
also: Lv N, reputation badge, Wall reputation
Every Wall user has a Wall Level — a numeric badge "Lv N" that surfaces next to their name on profiles, posts, comments, and leaderboards. The level is computed from on-platform activity: log₂(followers × 2 + posts × 1 + giftsCount × 3 + giftTier × 5). High-tier gifts (Crown, Unicorn, Trophy) accelerate level fastest because of the giftTier × 5 weight — receiving a Trophy from a single user advances your level more than 50 likes.
Six tiers map to level ranges: Newcomer (Lv 0-2), Beginner (Lv 3-4, ~10–50 followers), Active (Lv 5-6), Notable (Lv 7-8, ~300–1500 followers), Star (Lv 9-10), Legend (Lv 11+, ~6000+ followers). The formula is deterministic — no admin discretion — so reputation is auditable and transferable; you cannot lose Wall Level by refusing to subscribe to Premium.
Premium and Ultra subscribers can replace the numeric label with a custom string (12 characters) — "Curator," "Beta," whatever. Free users see the numeric Lv N. Wall Level is distinct from Verified Creator (Wall ✓), which is a manually-granted editorial badge.

Common questions
Can my Wall Level go down?
Not from organic activity — the formula uses followers, post count, and gifts received, all monotonically increasing or stable. If users unfollow you, your Lv could in principle drop, but in practice the changes are slow and the tier display is stable.
Does Wall Level affect search ranking or feed visibility?
Not directly. Wall Level is a public reputation signal, not a feed-ranking input. Recommendation feeds use other signals (engagement velocity, recency, branch fit) documented in docs/recommendation-engine.md.
Can I buy Wall Level?
Not directly — there is no "buy Lv 10" purchase. But the formula does include giftsCount × 3 + giftTier × 5, so receiving high-tier gifts (which cost Stars to send) accelerates your level. Buying gifts to send to yourself from a second account is bannable; the anti-pump heuristics catch it.
